Well URL shortening sites are coming up left and right but none of them stand out as much as is.gd (is good?). It’s one of the best simply because of the length of their domain. It can shorten any of your urls up to 80%
Are you gonna move your site to a new domain? Most webmasters quiver at the idea of changing over domains. They don’t know how to do it without killing their site in Google.
What you want to do is make the switch seamless to users, and make sure that “Google knows that your new pages should get the same quality signals as the pages on your own site.”
Let’s say your moving from your old domain, www.yoursite.com, to www.newsite.com. It is way different from moving to a different IP (im gonna teach you guys soon) so read on.
One really useful thing I have learned so far doing the webmaster thing is that you have to do stuff yourself. Unfortunately I am just figuring this out
So what happened, that this smacked me in the face? 
A few weeks ago I saw this cool site that just had just a Google affiliate ad for Firefox and a few sentences.
Then I thought hey, this is going to be easy to make, and if it works out I can make a few bucks.
So I decided to give it a shot. I got the domain get-firefox.us, and I made the template in photoshop by myself.
Anyway I was having trouble coding it, in Dreamweaver, so I decided to have it coded, since I saw some guy was cosing .psd to xHtml for $20. It seemed very reasonable so I went for it. I got my coded layout in 2 days time. When I first got it I thought it was good and just shut my mouth about it. This is what it looked like: Horrible Coding Job, like the url?

, yet another webmaster forum has surfaced on the net today. Web-Talks.com, is the newest forum I’m personally a member of. I joined because my friend and the owner of the site, Swastik, told me to, and his word is law.
At first, I was a bit skeptical 
, thinking that hey “these webmaster forums go down just as fast as the pop up,” but before I knew it I was posting like a mad man, In just over two weeks this place has gotten 54 active members, which is amazing by the way, and over 1,700 posts.
Their is always something their to talk about, and I may have learned more in these short two weeks on
Web-Talks than I have in six months on Digital Point. The people are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Although the members are for the most part as young as me, you won’t get a cocky prick pushing you around and playing seniority on you :fork in eye:. You get real questions and real answers.
